These are my first ever (since I was a child and my dad grew them) collard greens plants!

We've got them in Minneapolis too!

YAY! I planted some lettuce seeds this morning and now I'm staring at dirt again LOL

I was able to walk around most of my yard today and the some of the beds are almost ice free ROFL

SO SAD!

I watch so many allotment gardeners in the UK and they grew so many sweet peas I tried them last year and finally got to smell them. Only to discover that Bath & Bodyworks in the 80s captured the scent exactly and that I hated it both then and now. 😢

Yup. Bought more seeds. I needed (yes that word is lying) some seeds for some tiny mini tomato plants to live in my greenstalks

Hmmmm. Maybe it's a lemon cucumber then? I've never grown them before so I don't know what the leaves look like - because those look too big compared to the cuke varieties I've grown. Now I'm invested! You'll have to post when you harvest!

But knowing it was their last year I got myself several extra SP - and one of them is in my kitchen sprouting. THOSE THINGS ARE GOING IN WATER AND I'M TOTALLY GROWING THEIR GEORGIA SWEET POTATOES THIS YEAR - rofl

So I'm trying to up my fiber and SP are a great source that I LOVE the taste of to eat just olive oil and baked. And I had a fave Farmer's Market Vendor whose family was all in Georgia who brought up beans and SP from their farm (the got older and this past summer was their last year 😭)

I was in the store yesterday and they had *square bottom* solo cups and I will absolutely be getting those for my seedling transplants because I need all the help I can get to keep things from falling over ROFL

See I'm a sugar addict who didn't like tomatoes until I was in my 30s. Super sweet 100s hit that spot for me, but I don't like the taste of sungolds

My Chocolate Sprinkles are mad prolific producers - starting early going until the are frozen out. And they are meaty delicious perfection
