At peak tide, observers may see redshank, curlew, oystercatcher, dunlin, turnstone, and knot gathering on the rock groynes.

How can new technologies help us collect more meaningful, consistent and useful data for Curlew conservation? This session explores the potential of digital tools to support monitoring, standardise recording, and feed into wider analyses across Europe.

Marie is a postdoctoral researcher from the University of La Rochelle, working in close collaboration with the French Office for Biodiversity. Her research focuses on spatio-temporal patterns of movement and habitat selection of shorebird species at different scales across Europe.
