Again, I am so stressed that I start thinking "can stress kill me?" and I know it can! Which makes me more stressed.

I read all of Spicy Mints last night and it healed me. It's so well-written. I love every character, I laughed out loud, I cried, and I giggled and kicked my feet when Mint and Tsurai finally kissed. Thank you and Jess for creating such a beautiful work!

Mint's blushing and worried as Tsurai does a surprise trust falls on him. It also has a the Spicy Mints title and a simple background.

Loving anime and manga is amazing, but everything has that sheen of horrific work conditions, exploitive treatment, and entitled thieving fans smeared all over it.

If I could, I'd make sure creators got way more money than publishers and executives and worked under ideal conditions and were endlessly supported by audiences who insisted they worked with realistic schedules and prioritised their health.

Whenever I hear comic creators talk about what an ‘honor’ it is to work on this character or that IP, this sort of quote is what my mind flashes to. These publishers want you to think that it’s an honor to compromise your work and get screwed over. Don’t buy into that.
