18.03.2025 15:43 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0They have no shame. None.
17.03.2025 22:04 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I have a new post on Substack: open.substack.com/pub/justjan/...
09.03.2025 14:32 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0This barred owl lives in the woods by my house.
07.03.2025 19:20 โ ๐ 11 ๐ 2 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0So many diagnoses plus some greed and evil.
07.03.2025 01:24 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0We were inside. She could just see it through the window like 30 feet away.
06.03.2025 02:14 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Iโm taking a break for Lent. Stay strong, friends. Rest when you need to. Keep resisting and doing what is good.
Keep loving.
See you after Easter.
Itโs peaceful. In the woods. A sanctuary.
06.03.2025 00:40 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Iโm a therapist and have a cabin on my property where I do multi day intensives with clients.
06.03.2025 00:35 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0It was 30 feet away and we were inside. I definitely am not trying to get close.
06.03.2025 00:10 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Oh I didnโt know that! Good to know.
05.03.2025 23:53 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0May God grant us a holy Lent wherein we do to others as we want others to do for us; we care for the poor, the sick, and the dying; we welcome those on the margins to join hands in the circle of faith; where we do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly.
05.03.2025 13:36 โ ๐ 19 ๐ 6 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Nope. Never seen one at all. But lots of chipmunks outside.
05.03.2025 23:34 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I hope your day improves.
05.03.2025 23:28 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Beautiful
05.03.2025 23:24 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Iโve lived on this property for 13.5 years and hear them at night a lot but Iโd never seen one until the last few weeks.
05.03.2025 23:20 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Iโm a therapist and itโs one of the locations I offer therapy sessions.
05.03.2025 23:04 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Iโve wondered this. I wish I knew what it was!
05.03.2025 22:47 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The owl? Or my client?
05.03.2025 22:43 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0A barred owl has repeatedly appeared in daylight hours right by my therapy cabin. Today it sat right in front of my clientโs line of vision all morning. I feel honored, as if an elder is holding space with me, imparting some deep wisdom and protecting us as we do deep, sacred work.

Macbeth
Just talking about this with a client yesterday. When horrible things happen our nervous system stays primed and on alert. We canโt comfort ourselves by saying โit will all work outโ because we have lived a different reality and know thatโs not always true.
05.03.2025 13:42 โ ๐ 5 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0We need someone to really stand up to him. I think heโs trying to break the government.
