the problem is that the democrats don't realize that the end goal for the GOP now is NOT a functional democratic government, it's the DEMOLITION of democratic government in america. you (i.e. the dems) can't play the role of Chamberlain and then be surprised when Hitler invades Poland.

i was talking to my older brother very recently about this and he's very very liberal, opposed to the left wing parts of the party, etc. and he was ADAMANT that the Democrats can't "stoop to the gop's level" and be mean and bold.
