Windows sees it as a generic PnP monitor, because I’m using a hdmi to vga adapter, I can’t go higher than 60hz

It’s funny because I had to go out of my way to recycle them and now I wish I would have kept them. Now that I know some can be RGB modded and have service menus for perfect video output.

It has a great picture, but I wanted a small trinitron tv but people are charging a lot for them now. Scanline flickering is the only issue I notice but it’s manageable.

I got a crt monitor that I dragged here when I moved but didn’t know what to do with it. Well I moved the Core One printer to the other side of the shelf and now use the crt as a secondary monitor. 1280x1024@60hz seems to be the sweet spot (even though it could do 1900x1200 somehow).

Type F went together well with Elixir Nightshade. It’s about the minimum scaling I’d want to do with a 0.4mm nozzle. I’d suggest both at maybe 125%

Skadis compatible shelf hangers, is this something that would be useful?

Towel clip for oven handle with curves. Measure the square dimensions, guess the intersection points, and use fit point spline. Perfect fit on first print!

I started this shelf project about 6 months ago when I moved into my apartment. I developed a parametric dowel rod connector system to build it then I had the hardest time motivating myself to finish it. I had to problem solve since I built it with basic tools and my Mk4/Core One printing 6+kg PETG

Unfortunately, I don’t have them anymore. I think there’s better bed slinger designs now.

My Makerbot cupcake couldn’t print well enough to make its own upgrades, maybe with generous tolerances and post processing.

I saw we're doing 2016 throwbacks. On this day 10 years ago, I was making the first prints on a Mendel 90 we built for the "How to build a RepRap 3D printer" class I taught at the Dallas Makerspace. I would have never guessed I'd be making a living working on 3D printers founded by RepRap today.

I agree, I want to use an open source hardware license, but I haven’t looked deeply at CERN open source hardware license yet. Obviously I have vested interest in the OCL preventing IP theft but I also realize the idealized goal of OSHW is democratizing manufacturing so it’s a tough situation.

I am in a weird grey area with the license where anything I make could technically fall under Prusa IP by my employment or personal hobbyist use of my Prusa printer under OCL.

I finished building my @prusa3d.com Core One+ from a Mk4. It looks really nice.

I want to redesign it a little though, a small microcontroller and motor so it feeds filament until it feels resistance.
