Old gas stations and closed dry cleaners are some of the best places for new homes. But inconsistent and not technically sound approaches to removing contamination punish developers who take on more ambitious clean-up projects. We can fix it. prosperitycalifornia.org/news/2025/09...

IRS begins sharing sensitive taxpayer data with immigration authorities to find undocumented migrants | CNN Politics The Internal Revenue Service began sharing sensitive taxpayer data this week with immigration authorities searching for undocumented migrants, according to two sources familiar with the matter.

I ran a free tax prep site where the IRS trained us to tell people there was a firewall between ICE and the IRS. It was a point of pride for many people to pay taxes in a country where they found opportunity. This is predatory and not getting enough attention: www.cnn.com/2025/08/08/p...

Why building more homes near transit will transform lives across California | Opinion California cities have largely banned apartments and condos, preventing people from living near jobs and transit systems their taxes fund.

Love this take on the need for SB 79 from @abundanthousingla.bsky.social leader Monica Rivera: taxpayers fund transit infrastructure and then are blocked from using it by exclusionary land use policies. Let's go! calmatters.org/commentary/2...

One of our first-ever sponsored bills at @prosperityca.bsky.social was prioritized by the Governor and written into SB 131! Years of work from many in the housing, transit, and renewable energy movements led to these reforms. I couldn't be prouder to be a part of getting them across the finish line!
