A new commentary published in the Health Promotion Journal of Australia highlights recommendations for reporting #ATOD screening tools use with pregnant Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Great to have members of our Substance Use Research and Evaluation (SURE) Team at Progressing the Prevention Agenda in SA today, delivered by Preventive Health SA and the Public Health Association of Australia - a valuable day for prevention partnerships and action in SA.

Well done to Christina Norris & Victoria Kostadinov on their great presentations at the AIMS alcohol symposium in Canberra today. Christina’s presentation focused on the imagery of alcohol products and Victoria’s focused on consumer perceptions of nutrition-related claims. Both did a brilliant job!

Our team enjoyed being part of the FHMRI Road to Research event meeting lots of students (and staff) who took part in our #AOD games. We have a range of projects available for honours, masters and PhD students so contact us if you are interested.

Our world first scoping review of 27 studies identifies the need for further research on the impact of different approaches and instruments used to measure ATOD-related presenteeism, which has a greater impact on workplace productivity than absenteeism. Read more at doi.org/10.1007/s109...
