Does it benefit Putin? If yes, he will consistently choose that option.
Does it let him act out some sort of petty and vindictive revenge against someone perceived as having wronged him in the past? If yes...
Ukraine's unilateral surrender has ALWAYS been Trump's "road to peace", because that's what Putin wants and Trump has consistently run Putin's errands since he was first elected in 2016.
That, and he has always personally hated Zelenskyy since he refused to fabricate dirt on Hunter Biden for him.
When Trump proposes a "land swap" to end the Ukraine-Russia war, the word "swap" implies that both sides give up territory. But that's not the intention here. When they say "swap", they mean "Ukraine unilaterally gives up territory".
It's all just lies to mask that Ukraine is demanded to surrender.

I'm annoyed at how there are still those who think the blame for the start of Korean war is on both sides and it was USA's fault for siding with one of them. It's a clear fact that Korean war started with North Korea's invasion. Denying it is a distortion of history.

Just yesterday I saw Gavin Newsom make a desperate plea to the rest of the Democrat party, basically asking why no one is doing anything, telling them that they have to start fighting back if they still want to exist in the future.
I know what I'm seeing with my own two eyes, and it's weakness.
