"In star-language, ten demands could explode from a visitor simultaneously, long sounds radiating outwards like blades in night, similar but distinct, all joined at one nucleus of want." β˜„οΈ

Opinions Too Unpopular to Monetise A blog about pop culture, software development and poetry.

Wrote this as a companion piece to 'polblar tMolkop' - the poetry pamphlet I have coming out with @thebraag.bsky.social next month.

Critics are calling it 'something I have not read'

My mistake, it was Β£13. Why on earth has it gone up by Β£37 in six years?

When we started the Braag in 2020 it was an Β£18 filing fee for our yearly confirmation statement for the companies house. They just announced it's going up to Β£50. Jesus bloody Christ.

Would recommend picking up Necrosmologies while its on sale (or even if it wasn't)...alternate realities, strange creatures and an industrial setting, what more could you want?

They call them corpse roads, coffin paths. They call them wraith ways, lych lanes. Routes carved into the land by those grief-heavy feet coming from outlying places to distant churches for burial. Death as procession, death as ritual journey. A haunted hodology. – Dr. M. Benn

Shirley Jackson was right. No live organism can exist sanely for long under conditions of absolute reality.

Let’s make one thing clear: polblar tmolkop by Andrew Blair is not an endorsement of the 2009 film Paul Blart: Mall Cop. If anything, it is an explanation. One that defies explanation itself. In a series of experimental, ludic poems.
