5 hours into my simulated 12-hour shift. I've been awake for only 18 hours. Just popped open a Dew to keep going. Trying to make it to my 8-hour mark (4am) before I go to bed.

I'm shifting to night shift. Been awake all day today, and have to start nights tomorrow. 😳 I'm in trouble. Lol

It really was gorgeous. The time lapse didn't turn out, but that wasn't the point anyway. 😊 Great day in the mountains.

I've got my workbench just about finished up! This side is metalworking mode, for welding and such. The top pivots open for woodworking mode, with my table saw, and the top becomes an out feed table. Absolutely love the chain accents on the corner - easily my favorite part. Now to rebuild my vise.

I'm writing a fictionalized blog about our efforts to sell our house and live on the road. It's a terrifying thing, and I think (hope) it will be a compelling story. Fictionalizing it gives me some really tantalizing liberties, and I'm super excited for it.

We're going to go live on the road. Might take us a year to get there, but it's been a dream for many years, and now we're making it a reality. I'm starting a blog to document our huge change, and I'm really stoked.

I feel this so much. An apocalypse would even be fine right about now. Lol

Yes, the tail is hella long. Had to quit at 121 stitches because I ran out of tail. Decided I was not going to do that again! And I wish I had more yarn and needles so I could just practice the knitting stitch, and the purl stitch. Without having to undo all this ~again~... 😁

I successfully cast on 132 stitches with some German twist someone or other. But now, trying to figure out how to actually knit the next row in is IMPOSSIBLE! LOL Especially when the instructions just say "knit 1 purl 1". Figuring this out one step at a time.

Going to teach myself how to knit so I can make a slouch hat for my brand new suit. Picked up this really loud yarn for my learning piece. I'll share progress pics if/when I make some! Lol
