(fat shaming has been proved to make people bigger. So maybe we should promote health, instead of a specific body size.)

(I was skinny. Fast food commercials is not the problem, as lot of people will have stated countless times in the comments. Access to healthy food, and the walkable city would help, but we also can’t deny that the stigma against obese people actually makes the problem worse…)

(I think a lot of people who am my age, also known as people who were born in the 80s and grew up in the 90s were absolutely traumatised by diet culture. I grew up thinking I was enormously fat. Imagine my complete shock when I saw myself on a home video from the 90s; not only was I not fat…)

(there’s also so much evidence, that separating food in “good“ and “bad“ categories is very harmful. I didn’t develop BED as a child and subsequently gain weight because of fast food commercials. I got an eating disorder because of peoples attitudes towards my body and my food choices.)
