I swear I have had more erotic dreams in the past 6 weeks than I have had in the past year. Maybe putting a hard phallic object in my body three times a day is having an effect on my psyche.

Another thing I didn't know about recovering from bottom surgery is the amount of time I would spend in the bathroom. I'm either cleaning my dilators, cleaning my vulva after spraying urine everywhere, or rinsing the copious amount of lube out of my canal.

Also don't shave your arms before staying in the hospital for a week. My elbows were so raw from re-adjusting myself because I couldn't use my core.

My most used item in the hospital, post surgery was a heating pad. Second place was my steam deck.

I'm kinda bummed my anesthesiologist knocked me out before getting to the surgery room. I really like seeing all the tools and people who are about to take care of me.

Seriously, I probably lost like 10oz of blood in the first two weeks. I think my case was a little extreme though.

Going through bottom surgery is wild because the weeks before surgery you effectively go through menopause then you're in the hospital for a week, then you have your first "period" for the following two weeks and you bleed through every pad.

I had bottom surgery a month ago and the amount of paper towels, antibacterial soap, lube and menstrual pads I've gone through is astounding.

Like this guy was aggressively shouting. It kinda scared me.

Sometimes it feels like a different person won these medals. I miss the sense of purpose cycling gave me. The aspirations to be better and be stronger. The community I was a part of. I haven't been able to find anything else that fills my soul quite like it. Sport should be for everyone.
