Most people on earth are perfectly pleasant to casually interact with! Lots of the most deeply horrible people are tremendously charismatic — it’s how they can prosper while being so horrible!

It’s also fun when yt people say things like this because what they really mean “well, these people are always nice to ME.” but if you aren’t straight, white, and abled it actually takes very little time for someone’s ugly to come out 🫠 It’s just a matter of what one’s threshold for ugly is.

I mentioned in passing a while back that part of Trump's success is his charisma and people argued with me for *hours* that he couldn't possibly be charismatic bc they didn't personally like him. That's not what it means guys!

They're outliers, but you would think a bunch of notorious serial killers going years without people in their orbit suspecting a thing would've helped people make this connection.
