idk a lot of my games don't even need Proton but yeah Proton/Wine are both perfectly serviceable for a lot of games nowadays unless you wanna play League of Legends

I know I become "that guy" by saying this but it has never been easier to switch to Linux, thanks in part to the steam deck most stuff runs natively on it now (and there are plenty of noob-friendly distros nowadays)
