More kitbashed Battle Brothers! Heavy Bolter, and two Chainswords. Next round of #blacktemplar kitbashes; Bladeguard Ancient with the Household standard, and the Apothecary attached to these Black Templars. Former based on a #Kromlech bit, the latter is a former Sanguinary Priest. Quite happy with how they turned out! #wip #warhammer #40k #kitbashing

Chose the helmet for my #blacktemplars Marshall 😎 It’s a conversion bit from #kromlech Imperial Crusaders Helmet heads. Rather happy with the outcome! #wip #kitbashing

Gotta step up my game - awesome work!

Though #40k #BlackTemplars have my attention as a new shiny thing, I'm still doing #TrenchCrusade things, too. Here's a little overview for the #NewAntioch warband I'm working on right now. Quite like the combo of medieval and dieselpunk vibes! #WIP #kitbashing

Further work on my #BlackTemplar Marshall for #40k. Happy with the progress! Didn’t make too sweeping changes to the Indomitus Captain; just changed details to make him more Templar-y. He still needs a head and I’ve got options, but waiting for a few 3d printed parts before my final decision on it 🙂

Here’s my first #BlackTemplar for #40k; Sword Brother Sieger. I know it’s kinda ironic he doesn’t have a sword ;-)

Used a Cities of Sigmar icon instead of one from the box, because I wanted to give every Brother a icon, and I didn’t want to use the Castellan one. Fits the BT style just fine IMO :-)

Ah, now I see! Reminded me of that old shield with the hand nailed on it :-)

Depending on what I'm working on I don't bother with unification, but, given these guys are supposed to be pretty professional soldiers... It felt natural :-)

Work in progress! New Antioch Yeomen for my warband the 22nd Barghest Irregulars.

Mix of kits here; various bodies and arms, weaponry... The through theme are the heads and their backpacks, to tie them together. These are from the Wargames Atlantic Bulldogs 🙂

Inspired by the flexible attitude for models #TrenchCrusade has, I'll have a go at some #40K Space Marines. Not for the rules; mostly just what inspires me 🙂

I'll use some of the stuff I've got for Black Templars;
- Marshal (based on this Stormcast)
- Chaplain/Judiciar
- 'Banner Bearer'
- Castellan

The latest, though probably not last depiction of my Goliath Barbarian - by now easily my longest-running #D&D character. Depicted with his newest trophy; the head of a Green Hag. Render made in #DAZStudio and tweaked in #Photoshop.

The Crimson Threnody is blessed with the presence of four Stigmatic Nuns, who practice an occult offshoot of the Samaritan faith.

I've finished my Stigmatic Nuns for #trenchcrusade. Nice and bloody, I tried to pay homage to @mikefranchina.bsky.social's original concept art. Happy with the results!

Just a more or less random row of the more recent character portraits I've made for myself using #DAZStudio. Nice to see my progression from my earliest work 🙂

Some Pilgrims of the Cortege of the Crimson Threnody. Some soldiers liken them to Redcaps, and rumours have spread that they use Heretic blood to dye their cloth.

Yeah, I've realised that 😅 I wanted to go beyond the quality of the little snapshots I made with my phone, though, and I feel I got there 🙂

Consider this a 'sneak preview' - just as I tried to level up my painting, I tried to level up my photos 🙂

The lightbox was bodged together, but seeing the result, I'll remake it in a more permanent fashion, and make more photos. Then I can show off my #TrenchPilgrims for #TrenchCrusade even more 😎
