That was a near-perfect washout low just after the open. Opened unchanged, traded down to take out the overnight lows, 30 points lower, triggering sell stops that pushed the market 10 points lower and quickly reversed. 55 point short squeeze in 7 minutes. If 6820 holds, the low for the day is in.

And now... the unwind. Not much different than Charlie Brown trying to kick the football. Poor guy always sells at the wrong time.

This is a good follow. Their Bluesky account has 110 followers compared to 21,000 on their X account. It gets about the same engagement on both accounts. It should have at 10k on Bluesky. X is dead.

The 50 dma holds. Classic move. Clear out the stops below the 50 dma and the Jan02 lows. Leaving shorts trapped. Probably the final time the 50 holds. New highs soon, or a retest and deeper sell-off likely.

Old support. Now resistance. Blue downtrending line. Until it is cleared, bears are in control. Currently 6910.

5th or 6th test of the 50dma in 3 months. 100dma(6745) if spx doesn't bounce soon.

Likewise, the long 7+ month win streak ended in December. Major tops (arrows) since 1980 started after the win streak ended and the uptrend with higher highs became choppy (circles)

It's the same with the MasterCard gift cards. I gave a $500 card to my nephew and he registered it at what he thought was their site as it was the first one Google served up and lost it all. No recourse from MC. Complete BS.

I used Waymo 50+ times in San Francisco, not an easy city to navigate with all the pedestrians, skateboarders, scooters, and buses without an issue. It's the way of the future. Much better than human drivers.
