Retired. Peterborough UK. Gold panner, dog walker, metal detector, Vespa rider. Lover of the ancient and absurd. Countryside wanderer. Generally more boring than this all seems.

La Goudale, French 7.2%. Meaningful glass stolen from a Paris bar by a teacher at my request on a 6th form trip in 1980.

Smokey goodness. Budvar black currently available in Lidl in the UK. Although it's 4.7%. I'm sure it's 5% in Europe. #bskybeer

That'll be why the police used to eyeball every 5th former in my school on a Monday morning.
I went once to Villa Park, FA cup semi final Liverpool vs Arsenal. We were pelted with bricks as we left even though we lived in walking distance.

And now I appear to be stuck part way along a "journey" or "Urgent Pathway" ( (c) NHS).
So, a week on from a very distressing day that revealed nothing, I'm awaiting test results and a date for a CT scan. I felt good about the lack of anything, then I realised it meant that it's all unexplained

No surprise, the only time I met a few people who might have been on the periphery.... There was a BAFTA on the mantlepiece.

I can pretty much guess what happened. Which would make it predictable and therefore preventable.
We'll see.

I let the contract for the IT cabling when it was an office. Explaining the concept of "listed interior" to a bunch of cabling guys was interesting.

I got a much better deal, four young ladies asking to look at my todger from the inside.
I said "are you taking the piss"
They said "thanks for reminding us, heres the bottle"

It's easy to forget that she was a dangerous left wing radical. Whose policies were far to the left of Sirkeir

That tradition died with bomb sites and urban wasteland.
We used to have 4 or 5 gangs building on the same patch of land, a lot of wood used to move around at night.
Also, they were usually built around a den with a 3 piece suite, first on out on the big night is a sissy

Wishing you all the best with this.

I've got an afternoon of tests ahead of me but I'm not being dramatic about it (quietly sobbing in a corner) :) :)

They can be a bit up themselves but it's much nicer than Peterborough.

£10 per 400ml is about normal for Iceland, I don't think we've gone below £8 even during Happy Hour, of which there are many, usually lasting 3 hours, sometimes involving a troll.

#bskybeer. Still in Iceland (this is getting expensive at £10 for 400ml).
Viking Light. Gluten free, very refreshing. 4.2%>

#bskybeer Ignore the colour, it's the lights. Bastard Amber, 4.9? %. Ooh, that's good, refreshing and full of flavour.

#bskybeer My last night in Iceland. In Lemmy bar drinking Lemmy IPA 7.2%.
Pleasant for a strong beer. The hops stop just short of overpowering but are robust enough to be a warning about the strength.

I don't want them for more practical reasons, they would duplicate the current functions of the driving licence and passport. So unless they replace either of these they are pointless.

Parklife!

There is no point, you already can't get a job, bank account or accommodation without a passport and /or driving licence. If it doesn't replace at least one of those it's just duplication.
We already have two effective ID cards that life is impossible without.

#bskybeer Icelandic again. Boli 5.6%. So quite strong, flavourful without being overpowering and fairly low on gas.

#bskybeer In Iceland, had to give this place a try. Hazy Bastard is a New England IPA, locally brewed.
For me, nicely balanced, I don't like overpowering citrus and this had just enough.
