We've hoped for prompt response to our concerns and request for Acas conciliation to avert a strike during Welcome Week and the first teaching week--we suggested that concrete meaningful engagement by Monday 15th September would be useful, but it's Friday and afaik we're waiting... #bournemouthuni

Teaching -2 weeks: It's interesting prepping for the new semester--many colleagues took VR & the uni was fully restructured over the last three months, a timeframe which is certainly a choice that has had effects.

Reader, you may not believe me, but the unions had to raise this with the university when colleagues noticed both the above were missing from their August pay packet. Not one comment from the university until then.
