"I'm not the fastest man alive for nothing," says Hawks with a cheeky smirk. No one says anything about the fact that he doesn't have wings anymore to continue holding that title.

Eijirou wants to argue, but as he watches Katsuki's steady breath on the computer monitor, he knows Hawks is right. Katsuki's doing his damnedest not to panic and use up his remaining oxygen too quickly. Eijirou can at least help ease that burden with a comforting distraction. "Be quick," he says.

Hawks places a hand on Eijirou's shoulder, squeezing lightly. "Stay here and support your partner. Let the rest of us track down these monsters. At this rate, they won't stay hidden for very long."

"In that case," says Hawks, "I think it would be best of Red Riot stays out of sight for the time being. I'll notify the police and make the statement to the press that we have people of interest in the missing pro hero case."

"I should be out there!" Eijirou protests.

"People that are out for revenge usually want to see the reaction of the person they're seeking revenge on. This could all still be some elaborate trap, but the breadcrumbs could also very likely be leading right to them so that they can see what it does to you."

"If it's about revenge, then they might not care if they get caught," one of the taskforce members says.

Eijirou lifts his head to meet the man's gaze. "Why wouldn't they care? They spent all this time picking off heroes to work up to this."

Eijirou's heart drops into his stomach. "It has to be them."

"I'm notifying the police," says Hawks. "The entire city is going to be searching for them."

Eijirou chews on the inside of his cheek as he looks at the monitor displaying Katsuki's immobilized form. "This all seems too easy so far."

"Seto Aoi—Quirk: Hallucination. She's able to cause visual and auditory illusions on a single individual. Seto Kakeru—Quirk: Sleep Secretion. He's able to secrete a fluid from his body that causes anyone exposed to it grow drowsy. It's similar to his father's quirk."

They gave false alibis on multiple occasions and were charged with obstruction of justice and lying under oath.

Hawks starts tapping on his phone. "I'm pulling up the Japanese Quirk Registry." He clicks his tongue to the roof of his mouth as he searches the database for information on their quirks.

"I remember them," Eijirou says, thinking back on the trial. Seto's children gave testimonials on how it couldn't have possibly been their father doing such horrible things because he was a good person.

"Him," Eijirou said with a shaky breath. His hand trembled as he pointed to the picture on the right. "His execution date was one month before the lower ranked heroes started going missing."

"Seto Takashi," says La Brava. She pulls up the file on him. "Next of kin: Seto Aoi and Seto Kakeru."

He remembered that trial vividly. It was painful to watch. The man used his quirk to take advantage of women that he put to sleep. It was the most vial thing Eijirou had ever seen. Those poor women had to sit on the stands and describe the things they remembered before and after falling asleep.

Eijirou stared at the faces. One of them, a man with drill quirk, died three years ago. The other, a man with a horrendous sleep quirk, was executed about a month before the first known hero went missing. Eijirou swallowed thickly.

"That narrows it down to five people," says La Brava. "Of those five, two of them have been executed. The other three are still awaiting their execution date." She pulls up the mugshots of the two villains that were executed.

The man holds up the note. "It says: 'We were forced to watch you lock up and kill the person most important to us.' Which means we can assume that whoever did this is related to someone that either received the death penalty or is on death row."

She puts the list on the screen for everyone to see, scrolling up and down to go through all the names.

"We can rule out anyone that has been released from incarceration," says one of the Commission people.

"Why?" asks Eijirou.

"Red Riot, we need a comprehensive list of everyone you've helped arrest. From there we can—"

"Got it!" La Brava chirps from the other side of the computer screen. Eijirou's career arrest record is lengthy. It could take 𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴 to comb through it all.

They were casual in their replies when asked about their relationship.

The team Hawks brought in read over the note, each taking a turn to look at it carefully. Eijirou continued to pace, lost in his thoughts until someone put a hand on his shoulder to stop him.
