Completely agree with @jaseokundaye.bsky.social - this was such a hurtful episode for black people, people with Tourette’s syndrome, and Jordan, Lindo and Davidson specifically. And it just didn’t need to be quite as hurtful, if BAFTA and the BBC had done their jobs. Feel for everyone affected

The bit that sticks out to me is "no one was talking about this before I started" which is obviously not true, not least because Martin Lewis started campaigning on this before she did, and you can only really imagine it's true if you have never really read about it at all.
