i will say that, even though i don't have the final say on these matters, i do seriously hope it'll be released in online / streaming services someday! as much as physical releases really is a novel thing i personally would prefer to have everyone worldwide have a chance to listen to it conveniently

the premium edition of the japanese release has the soundtrack included in fact haha. tbh i only knew of this recently and had no idea how the releases outside japan would handle it. don't ask me why the disparity of regional releases lol :P

thank you! yeah the built-in mario paint composer tool is probably one of the best introductions to music for kids... very simplistic (no accidentals) and full of silly moos and meow sounds, but also has a nice palette of real instruments that you can totally make a cool little banger loop with it.

i finally tried out Mario Paint on SNES NSO for Switch. i then remembered i once entered an online mario paint music competiton that took place i think ~2003. i forgot the site & it’s long gone by now, but i still have the recording of my entry.
