California is offering short-term financial support to Bay Area transit agencies — on top of our ongoing billions in assistance.
 
We'll keep working with these local agencies over the next year to secure sustainable, rider-first transit.

I just signed the Election Rigging Response Act to put Proposition 50 up for a vote on November 4th.

The people of California will have the power to push back against Texas and any other state that obeys Donald Trump's demand to rig the next election.

Californians are being targeted by the Trump Administration, and thanks to the hard work of the California legislature, they will have a choice to fight back — and bring much needed accountability to Trump’s efforts to undermine the democratic process.

When a president admits he can’t win and stay in power unless he rigs the game, democracy is in danger.

That’s why Proposition 50 is up for a vote in November, to give Californians the chance to fight back against this power grab and ensure their voices are heard.

Newsom: We got here because the President is struggling. We got here because the President is one of the most unpopular presidents in U.S. history. We got here because he recognizes that he will lose the election.
