The court was right to block these removals. These individuals were in imminent danger of spending the rest of their lives in a brutal Salvadoran prison without ever having had any due process.

BREAKING: Early this morning in a 7-2 ruling, the Supreme Court temporarily blocked the deportation of any Venezuelan men held in the Bluebonnet Detention Center in northern Texas under the Alien Enemies Act.

A long-dormant law requiring parental notification for minors’ abortions has been lifted. The court’s ruling comes in wake of the 2022 Dobbs decision that overturned Roe v. Wade.

UPDATE: Hours after filing our amended petition, a federal judge ordered Rümeysa Öztürk can't be removed from the U.S. until further court order. The government must respond to the amended petition by Tuesday at 5pm.
This is a critical next step. We won’t stop until Rümeysa is free.

Idaho passed a bill allowing local law enforcement to act as federal immigration agents without any oversight, helping to facilitate President Trump's mass deportation agenda.
