Would it be possible to do BiT in TP GC NSO? I guess it's a question of does their emulation environment let you soft reset frame perfectly?

GamesDoneQuick - Twitch Games Done Quick (GDQ) is a series of charity video game fundraising events featuring high-level gameplay. As of January 2025, GDQ has raised over 54 million dollars for charity.

Gonna keep doing any% runs but I achieved my immediate goal with any% so I am going to alternate it with restricted BiT runs.

Splits from Skyward Sword any% speedrun with a final time of 1:58:58, saving 2m38s over my previous PB.

Finally managed to break the Ghirahim 3 curse and get a new PB in Skyward Sword any%, breaking into the 1:15 ranks.

Finally broke the 1:20 barrier in skyward sword any%, despite taking a really stupid death to Demise at the end of the run. Definitely going to push the category further.

I mean i think bluesky being a smaller platform than the site formerly known as Twitter is a strength.

Basically we just need to stop relying on big corporations doing stuff for us effectively out of the goodness of their hearts, because that runs out quickly once $$$ becomes an issue.

I feel like we might need a systematic approach across the speedrunning community to archive VoDs on archive.org or other sites like it; with Twitch highlights no longer being a viable option YouTube becomes a single point of failure for the speedrunning community.

If I did more with the Minecraft stuff and actually streamed and highlighted all of my SMP (mis)adventures, I'd probably be near that level lol

I love that Twitch has caused me a massive headache with a problem that didn't exist before today.

Time to go through all my old runs and figure out which ones I need to export to YouTube (probably unlisted because I don't want to spam new video notifications for 4+ year old VoDs).

Finally managed to PB in Skyword Sword any% for the first time in over 2 years. Going to still be working on this because I should definitely be able to at least sub-1:20, and this run had a couple of very large timelosses.
