Valid point, if as the article suggests the US only has a limited military capacity against Iran and the expectation is that the Iranian people will take over, something I doubt, then the final statement "it will have demonstrated the limits of American power" will prove to be very significant.

The police were present in many polling stations and the Democracy Volunteers never raised it with them once, and official staff never raised one incident. Dem Volunteers only reporting incidents after the polls closed. Interesting the emphasis on their site "a focus on family voting".
