Farages comments aren't surprising when you realise that two in five of his supporters arrested for last summerโs UK riots had been reported for domestic abuse. He's not only a racist but also a misogynist.
29.10.2025 17:26 โ ๐ 42 ๐ 6 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0๐ฏI'm off out now, to support my local women's football team, so have a great evening.
29.10.2025 17:22 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Excellent news Farage lost, once again putting his own self interest before the country. The ECHR protects us all and he knows that which is why he and his wealthy friends want to get rid of it.

Mason/Kuenssberg don't deserve the title 'journalist' they gave up any right ages ago. I almost feel I need to have a long soak if I look too long at replies to most of our MSM and with regard to Labour, I've no idea what they are doing, their Education policies are sound but in other areas, no idea
29.10.2025 16:33 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I know that you often speak about Farage's connections to the establishment, which includes our MSM, they look to protect their own interests. Why so many support Farage and ignore what is happening in the US I don't understand and it's disgraceful that both the Libs and Greens are underrepresented
29.10.2025 16:24 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Davey doing what our media should, highlighting Russian ties to Farage. He's also right to bring this up during PMQT as the government does need to open an investigation into Russian influence in our politics.
29.10.2025 15:21 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0They all treat him like he's been released from the care home for the day. The real difference, as happened with my King (I'm English) is how they do only what is necessary with Trump but as when the King received Zelenskyy and Carney, they are much friendlier.
29.10.2025 14:54 โ ๐ 5 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Itโs hilarious how world leaders make so clear that they think Trump is an idiot and easily manipulated and he doesnโt realize it at all.

Good on you Michael
I know heโs a Tory but Iโve always kinda liked Heseltine
I would never vote Tory but my father knew Heseltine and he was really pleasant, I think for many more moderate Tories having him come back and fight Farage could make a difference, anything which prevents Farage from succeeding.
29.10.2025 14:44 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0When Trump finds out his MAGA minions in Congress are doing their job heโll be pissed. He wants to do their job.

The concerted efforts by Farage/Reform and the right merely confirms the significance of the ECHR. They fight so desperately to remove us because it is fundamental to our rights and freedoms, without it Farage and his wealthy friends would have the way clear to exploit us.
29.10.2025 14:36 โ ๐ 15 ๐ 2 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Another huge mistake, we are fighting hard to get the message out about the need to protect the ECHR, the Labour MP's are right to be concerned as it does make it seem like only the Libs and Greens care about the threat to our remaining in it.
29.10.2025 14:25 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I'm English our King reports to our parliament, it would help if Trump knew what he was talking about

Farage used this argument with Brexit it didn't work then it won't work now. Leaving the ECHR won't protect our borders but hands over power to Farage and the wealthy removing our rights and freedoms. It won't impact immigration but impacts us as we lose all our protections

He is very astute at using the media and truthfully I like him but..... I vote on policies and when you look a little deeper particularly re NATO I have concerns.
29.10.2025 13:51 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0In Brexit Britain, this is simultaneously very good & very bad news. Fact fans know it is mostly bad but hope (probably naively) that it might stem the flow of nativist bile dominating discourse. What a time to be alive.
29.10.2025 13:42 โ ๐ 282 ๐ 64 ๐ฌ 24 ๐ 3Unfortunately I was in a discussion with another re immigration and I quoted official gov stats showing the rise of minority groups was not significantly high. He refused to believe me quoting " a 30% increase" which is ridiculous as it would mean a virtual increase of 1 in 3. They refuse to listen
29.10.2025 13:49 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I'm late to this argument but I do believe imposing a wealth tax is a viable option, but there is an easier opportunity, I used to work for an influential Tory, and the first and obvious solution is the loopholes which the wealthy use to avoid paying tax. I'd suggest start there and close them
29.10.2025 13:42 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Byline Times or The Independent.
If it is Byline Times it is often a difficult read, it hits you in the face often confirming what you think or feel you already know, out there bold in Print.
Best Newspaper I have ever read.
Notice a pattern they always attack the vulnerable and disabled while they protect their wealthy friends.

There is no ceasefire, there never was a ceasefire, it was an opportunity for Trump which Netanyahu supported because he still needs US arms and he wanted the hostage families appeased. Falconer and our gov need to finally take action against Netanyahu, words mean nothing.
29.10.2025 13:28 โ ๐ 6 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Excellent read, provides a comprehensive history of globalisation and the very relevant question are we seeing it's death with the Trump administration and the loss of their global influence as a result of their isolation. The question "what happens next?"

Tories can give advice, the key is not to listen to it and after 14 years of Tory mismanagement, most of us don't.
