Make fun of him for being an irredeemable asshole, not his disability. FFS.

Thinking tonight of Nancy Pelosi, who carved a place for herself out of the most volatile and testosterone-laden of institutions, staying there for decades, building and biding her time.

I think it’s creep, as people have learned about it. The generations of Iowans I know would *never*.

That T is a real sleeper — I suspect it will be headed to one of the coasts for college in the fall.

It’s a primary race, so they are all Dems, running to represent the party in November against whichever Republican wins on their ballot.

Terribly written question. Can’t draw any conclusions from it.

Thank you for not giving the questioners the dignity of “journalists”.

It’s not valid: it’s ignorant. Full stop.

Old enough to remember being brought to tears by their ads showing wheelchair users buying shit at Target. (Not that navigating the clothing section was ever easy. Ads were a good start. 😒)

As you read excellent piece by @slooterman.bsky.social , bear in mind that the programs that enable disabled people to do their own thing and allow their family members to work instead of full time caregiving are also cheaper than dumping ppl in institutions. So: better is several ways.

Ugh. May the bureaucrat who shows up be more interested in getting through it quickly than being a judgmental wanker. You got this! 💪

A little girl of about 4 or 5 years old looks sideways over her shoulder with a knowing, closed-lips smirk on her face while a single-family home burns to the ground behind her.

Maybe it’s a bad idea to put people in charge of government who are eager for the rapture.

Sending thoughts and prayers to all the hard-working, under-appreciated, silently marauding metastases that might be listening. You got this, li’l buddies! 💪

Sadly, my idiot magatty family who *did* send their son to war in Iraq (for 2 tours) are still worried that Obama will take their guns. And somehow they remain victims even tho Son has a job at the VA. He might be RIFFED — like the rest of us were. NO FAIR! It’s always 🥨 logic w/ these fools.

This is so valid. And today, there are even fewer skeptics in TV newsrooms, and so many skilled print journos have been downsized that it’s going to be even more gross.

At least some Dems are going to be smarter about the new State of the News Industry and this POTUS and not fawn.
