Wrote about Sweden’s first commercial studio that developed games on Videopac in the early 80’s. A lot of Philips connections. Story today is mostly the US Odyssey 2 perspective but Videpac was big elsewhere. Maybe something for a Dutch person closer to Philips, but otherwise I can contribute.

Played Tetris and Snow Bros on Amazon Luna GameNight. Must say that I’m impressed by using a smartphone as touch controller. Responsive and contextually change based on what’s happening on the screen (menu, in level, customization etc).

As young in the early 90’s, I wanted the VGA versions and felt that the 16-color EGA versions felt archaic.

But today I appreciate the distinct minimalistic EGA style with dithering.
