For me, the scene was shrink-wrapped boxes with high-density 3.5-inch disks, startups with drive noises, AmiBIOS, CGA and EGA graphics (eventually VGA). And shareware. Sooo much shareware.

Once upon a time, I flew Lockheed Martin's Prepar3D flight simulator. Versions 4 and 5 of the flight sim carried some of the highest use rates until Microsoft released their flight simulator update in 2020 (and 2024).

I sometimes like tinkering with things more than building them. Maybe that's why I like messing around with Raspberry Pi machines (and some Linux distributions).

Some recent video game adventures. I commonly enjoy Euro Truck Simulator 2 and Microsoft Flight Simulator.

I'm growing to enjoy Ubuntu, although for general use and utilities, Raspberry Pi OS is optimized for Pi devices like the 4 and 5. I should expand my use of distros though, especially if custom use cases are out there.
