Thank you, Iris! When I had a bone scan, all the techs were wearing blue surgicals, but my tech had *no mask(!) But she agreed to wear an Aura I offered her. She wasn't wearing a mask b/c the blue surgicals fogged up her glasses! She said, "I wish the hospital provided us with better masks." Wow!

Amid measles outbreak in Ontario, RFK Jr.'s advice has Canadian experts alarmed
America's new top health official said the measles vaccine "causes deaths every year" and "all the illnesses measles itself causes."
More on measles misinformation with me, Mansour Haeryfar - @westernu.bsky.social l - & Dr. Brian Ward - @cusm-muhc.bsky.social in the @nationalpost.bsky.social . Measles kills or damages perfectly healthy people and no amount of healthy eating can prevent it.

Screenshot from Ward et al 2024 Supplementary Figure 5 showing the average time between COVID-19 symptom onset and a positive PCR test in the United Kingdom up to March 2023.
The lag between symptom onset and the first positive PCR test increased to 4.5 to 6.5 days after July of 2022.
DYK?
Since July 2022, the lag between COVID-19 symptom onset and a positive PCR test is 4.5-6.5 days.
You might test positive earlier than 5 days after symptom onset, but it can be up to one week.
That's PCR--with RATs you're even less likely to test positive within the first 5 days of symptoms.

COVID-19 may increase heart attack and stroke risk for years
Even if they never became severely ill, people who had COVID-19 in 2020 may face double the risk of heart attack, stroke or death up to three years later, new research finds.
COVID-19 can cause long-lasting damage to the cardiovascular system, even in people who only tested positive w/o severe symptoms.
The risk was especially pronounced in people with non-O blood types, suggesting an interaction between genes and the virus.
