Wow. You’re neither a Pynchon, nor a Paul Thomas Anderson fan. I knew they existed, but never thought I’d meet one. 😆

It’s an excellent, relevant film that will stand the test of time. You have to enjoy Thomas Pynchon’s novels in order to appreciate this adaptation, though.

I thoroughly enjoyed it, so much so that I immediately bought a copy after finishing the library book. I’m going out on a limb, but I think it’s Pynchon’s best novel.

Spilling light, they lie on earth’s shadowlit palm. Perhaps inverting the sky will coax a hand to touch their warmth. Instead, another day of choking on demystified beats of life, which die, mid‑weep, on susurrus braids of air.
