Happy Day 2 at #AnimeExpo #FFXIV

Garu was a last minute decision to cosplay so I'd have something casual. I won't lie it was super unflattering >< but I had a lot of fun and got to hang out with a lot of other Nu Carnival cosplayers so I'm not mad at it

Finally I cosplayed my WoL, Iris, and actually liked it.
I had so much fun in this cosplay and everyone was sweet. The leg armor is waaay too long for my legs though so I had to walk like a zombie. I'm going to wear him again but without the leg armor to a more casual event later this year

Cosplaying 2B was actually so much fun (although an alarming amount of people thought I literally couldn't see. I'm not just walking around a con blind, guys..)
I need to cut the wig shorter it was definitely too long but I still had a lot of fun and felt really cool.

Themis is my babygirl. I love him so much and I love cosplaying him. I got called Venat a lot but I can’t blame people. They do look kind of similar and if you’ve never done the raids I could see the confusion. Still love cosplaying him regardless

Broomquet Epel is an odd one for me to talk about. I put hours upon hours of work into this cosplay and honestly… I don’t think all the work comes across LOL which made it kind of sucky to wear if that makes sense

Lunae is my first HSR cosplay! I honestly didn’t expect to cosplay him but I’m glad I did! I actually added some fabric and buttons to the top so it’s more like a leotard and would stay down and it worked really well!

Weiss Schnee Holiday Ver was a lot of fun! Wrapping the weapon took forever but it turned out so cute I can’t be mad at it!

Garu was such good fun. I really loved cosplaying him and got to be in a fun group as well
This cosplay came in too big and in a million pieces so I added buttons (which ofc kept popping open at the con even though they did fine in my test wear) and also is taken in basically everywhere

Once again I have cosplaying Iris another try this time in just a casual street wear look but with waaay better ears
Honestly though I still wasn’t happy.
I love my boy so much tho so I’m trying again this year! 3rd time is the charm…?

Bring Heartsteel back aaaaugh. I love these boys. Cosplaying Aphelios was the best
I love so much about this cosplay more than anything though is how gender it makes me feel. My favorite cosplay I did in 2024

Dragoncon has a Bunny Hutch every year and while I don’t go to the “official” party I love coming up with a bunny design to wear
Themis was a last second decision (I was supposed to be Gorou!) because ffxiv took over my life and I had just finished the pandaemonium raids so… Themis 💛💛

This one pains me! I love G’raha so much but WOW I did not pull him off lol.
Honestly this cosplay was so expensive from start to finish I wouldn’t even know how to sell it so it’s just rotting on a broken hanger in my closet.
I really did want to like this cosplay

I love the Starsending set but the only character that wasn’t taken in the group I was in, was Ortho and I didn’t want to invest in that wig so I decided to just pretend Cater was invited too lol
He needed a lace front and more definition in the wig as well but people did know who I was at least

I absolutely loved cosplaying Frieren (I plan to wear her again this weekend actually!)
I bought this fairly last minute so the quality is just okay. I’d love to one day replace all the trim with something nicer

When I cosplayed Focalors, I was fully out of Genshin and hadn’t played it in half a year so I was already kind of meh
But then the cosplay zipper was just the worst and broke and was way too short so I had to sew in a modesty skirt
The wig was styled by a friend though in an art exchange!

This is barely a cosplay but I had a lot of fun wearing Aymeric so I’ll put it here.
I wore him to the Ren Faire and was impressed that some people actually knew who I was somehow?? (I had an Estinien with me so tbh that definitely helped)
I’m wearing 6 rings to be ~fancy~

White Rabbit Epel was another because I could cosplay. It’s so adorable and silly goofy but I really didn’t need to cosplay this outfit
My trumpet was a kazoo though so that was a lot of fun 🎺🎺

Tetia !! 💛 Cosplaying her was great. She’s so adorable. I made my own brush buddy which was my first time working with plush fabric
This cosplay also came in a size too big (so it’s pretty huge) but I just … didn’t care enough to argue with the store

Take 1 of cosplaying some form of my WoL, Iris, was alright. I had some cheap ears which I hated but people could tell what I was going for despite it
The fake chest at the end of the day was a choice. (I lived somehow)

Alphinaud was a brain changer- I love cosplaying him. He has re-wired my brain chemistry
All the armor I made with foam and it is attached with Velcro to his outfit. There’s also Velcro keeping the scarf in place

Summer was for a Team STRQ group!
She had just gotten her design recently so I was a little nervous people wouldn’t know who was but considering how many times I was asked to lay dead on the ground… I’d say they knew.
The Emblem on my chest was removable to give to the unsuspecting Rubys

I feel like this barely counts but I’d be remised not to mention my Union Birthday Epel.
I wear him when I still want to cosplay but the cosplay I was in has become too much.
It’s not accurate. It’s not complete. But I like it and it’s a great way to wind down

Kanao was a gift but also masks another failed project this time “cosplay the Butterfly sisters”
She was nice to wear but I was surprised how many people didn’t know who she was
Also I totally ran up to a Mitsuri in the middle of her filming a tt so that embarrassing vid is out there somewhere

Scary Monster Epel was for a group and I ended up loving it so much
This also makes the most recent style of my Epel wig with more of the “fwips “
I had so much fun cosplaying this with everyone

Ayaka’s Springbloom outfit has me in a chokehold. I loved it so much. I preordered her right away. I .. unfortunately just think I don’t pull off Ayaka lol because once again I just wasn’t happy despite the cosplay being truly beautiful

I cosplayed Riddle to MNSSHP ‘23 and got completely rained out lol
But it was an interesting experience! I actually don’t think I suited Riddle at all but it was a fun experiment at least

I actually really enjoyed wearing Lyney. I never brought him to a con and only wore him for the review video and photos but if I ever did I’d definitely get a new hat and style the wig better

I was not ammune to Barbie propaganda. I made this in like a day.
I hate myself in blonde wigs. Why did I ever think this would be a good idea mskaiabaj. The “hi, Barbie”s at the con were great though I can’t lie

Oops forgot my Bathing Suit Nilou. She was kind of whatever. Had a Sumeru group at Colossalcon I wore her for.
The headpiece is 3D printed and was very nice quality (I sold it to a friend of mine after the con)
