I was the Rhino Lady before I became the Wildlife Art with a Twist artist. Rhinos will always flow out of my mind into art. Red Tara is good proof of that. (Yes, that’s a blue lotus encased in that glass horn.)

I guess I’m posting here again. Hi! I’m a wildlife artist with a twist. I mostly post about art and all the things my art is supposed to be about.

Yesterday, I did a volunteer shift at Desert Art Center. I have paintings in the Main Gallery now! I talked to people who collect art in a big way. It was a fun day, and it was rewarding to help people buy art all day long. This was a really cool experience. I made a good decision with this gallery.

New work! Octo Scorpio is finished and already had a debut show. Woo!
Yes, I did not paint a scorpion for Scorpio. An octopus has the right curves, a good number of limbs, and tons of "feelers" and intelligence. It seems like a perfect fit for Scorpio.

Southern Cross and the stars that make it up were referred to as, "Giraffe," in parts of the world long before it was called, "Southern Cross," or, "Crux." The top of the constellation is the orange star, Gacrux.
