Text only. My tuppence worth. Firstly, the BBC has a lot of past form on altering interviews and footage to suit its agenda. Usually to belittle or paint the left or the working classes in the worst possible light (examples being the editing of footage from Orgreave to show mounted police charging striking miners *after* missiles were thrown when the exact opposite was the case; and Kuenssberg editing an interview with Corbyn to show him giving an answer to a completely different question to the one shown in the edited version - she was later promoted). Now - to the current shitshow. The answer to the orange mobster's obvious bullying is very simple. An apology (how craven) has already been proffered. Now broadcast the entire speech, unedited, in a special programme. Without commentary, without a presenter. BBC4 should be fine. Allow any audience (and any potential jurist) to decide for themselves whether or not an incitement to insurrection was intended. And then tell the demented old colostomy bag to go fuck himself.
Word count far too high for Bsky.
My thoughts on the shitbag in the Whitehouse and his current gangsterism against the far-from-perfect BBC.
Most people call it Wreck Road Beach now. Not long back it was "Wreck Harbour." Smuggled goods were brought ashore here away from prying eyes and quickly taken inland.
Perhaps to Hilltown where there were 21 houses, 10 of which were pubs. Perfect for selling on contraband.

Coloured pencil drawing, an abstract figure probably female is dancing in a blaze of yellow-orange colour. The drawing is unfinished.
A work in progress by an artist friend of mine, Tim Currant. He draws these marvellous images, full of movement.
Here I saw Eosphoros after her work is done, dancing until she is needed to yoke the horses once again to Helios' chariot the next morning. And on into eternity.
(Not what he intended).
I'm liking the sound of a 10 to 1 max wage ratio as is being touted by the Greens.
Goes even further than I've been droning on about for รฆons. Ignore arguments about needing to pay millions for the best talent. CEO of NHS England = ยฃ260k. They should be "best" for the job - I would hope.
A black guillemot swimming. Winter plumage. Buff-grey head, chest and under parts, dark grey to black wings tucked onto its back with distinctive brilliant white patch on its side (folded wing).
Spotted frequently in Annalong. Black Guillemots. The population is stable along the County Down coast. This one seen a few days ago in winter plumage, alongside several others.

I find the sea beautifully relaxing, even when she's a bit frisky and at a high spring tide like this morning. The Irish Sea from Wreck Road, Annalong, County Down.

I used to have 1-1 lessons, but I moved to N Ireland & there's a place local to us doing group lessons. It's a way to meet people.
Experienced teacher left. No notice. New teacher tonight. She's 17 & did well teaching 2 middle aged blokes. Takes courage & conviction โ๐ป.
A painting of Irish musicians a flute player, a fiddler and a Bodhran player. We are led to believe by the painting that they are playing in a pub session because there are part drunk pints of Guinness and an amber beer in front of them. Fiddle, Tin Whistle & Bodhran Player by Pam O'Connell 40x50" Acrylic on Canvas โฌ2400 was available from The Kenny Gallery thekennygallery.ie
We've recently moved to N Ireland from Cornwall and started going to a local regular trad & folk session - very welcoming and inclusive. I don't know their tunes and songs, yet. They're happy to hear some of mine. Hoping that, maybe, we've found our tribe.

It's probably been asked before, but I was thinking *if* Fartrage does get into No10 but doesn't change how his "party" is constituted - how can he be ejected as PM except by a general election?
Ref0rm is a limited company. He's the majority shareholder. He can't be got rid of by anyone. Democracy?
A man in his late 60s wearing heavy framed glasses. He is in close up and appears relaxed with his right hand raised to his cheek, lightly resting his face against the back of his finger. He has a grey moustache, a small goatee beard and a full head of grey hair. He is talking. The man is Glen Matlock.
Another legend. And again, nearly fifty years ago, this man was a threat to the very fabric of society. If he and his colleagues were allowed to appear, nothing but ill would befall us all. One of the greats. Glen Matlock.
03.11.2025 21:34 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I found this. Someone had used it to respond to an arsehole on a comment thread. A nasty little racist gammon, obviously.
So I nicked it and have been similarly using it whenever I find nasty little racist gammons (who might like Queen and this will ruin it for them). You might want to do the same.
2 males, late 60s, standing side by side, smiling towards the camera. On the left is Paul Simonon wearing a suit jacket with his hair slicked back. On the right is Steve Jones wearing glasses, a light coloured casual jacket and a scarf.
Legends. These men frightened my mum. One of them caused questions to be raised in the House of Commons. It was a different world, I suppose.

Screenshot of text of email received from the nascent party being founded baby Zarah Sultana and Jeremy Corbyn. "Thanks for signing up to build a new kind of political party - one that belongs to you. We want you to be part of the founding process of this new party. Soon you'll receive information about how you can participate in the inaugural conference, where we will determine the direction of this party, the models for leadership and what the party stands for. We want to work with you to build power in every corner of our country. Please spread the word! Share the link with your friends, neighbours and colleagues. We are not fighting for crumbs. We are fighting for real change."
I don't yet know whether Sultana & Corbyn's new venture will remain of interest to me. But my interest is certainly peaked. I don't know if I'm a supporter yet but I'm going along for the ride at the moment. By registering my interest I've received this email in response.

And neither do I. How it should work is 1st set up systems to assist those who can, and for whom circumstances allow, into work and ensure work is non-exploitative. Secondly, ensure benefits for those with disabilities are as generous as a (wealthy) society can afford.

A tweet from LBC reads: Greta Thunberg's selfie yacht stunt brought to an end as boat is intercepted - and Israel will force those aboard to watch harrowing video of October 7 attacks
The text of an email that I sent to Global, LBC's parent company, today. Good Afternoon I thought I'd let you know that a few years ago ago, maybe three or four, I switched the majority of my news sourcing to LBC/Global from other sources. Today, I unsubscribed from all Global news sources. This is due to the appalling editorial framing of whoever made the decision to put out the message that LBC views the Israeli interception of a British registered vessel in international waters as "Greta Thunberg's selfie yacht" - thus, without question defining LBC as pro-Israel rather than independent or unbiased. This is a standard I expect from the Mail or the Sun. I shall miss James O'Brien, Lewis Goodall and the Newsagents - this editorial decision has cost them at least one listener. Not even on YouTube "highlights" - if the organisation they work for can't be trusted as unbiased, then how can they? Which, of course, is why they left the BBC in the first place. Sincerely
Another news sources shows its colours. Email them at customer.support@global.com - I did. Feel free to use mine as a template if you want (full text in alt text).
The editorial framing in LBC's tweet " ... Thunberg's selfie yacht" is so biased that their entire news output is now suspect.
