It was so fun! I hope next year the artists will be organized for a better flow of traffic though. To see the artists closer to the cars, people were stuck in line to see any of the art for 1.5 hours or more.

I’m running a ceramics workshop at Jiaren Cafe in Santa Clara on Sat 5/10 from 10 am-3 pm! Come by and make some press plates and I’ll show you how to decorate them with textures or illustrations!

This class is beginner friendly and will be operated on 45 min blocks available by rsvp or drop in!

Some recent glaze pieces! Both are combinations of the same white and green glaze but on a white stoneware vs a brown stoneware!

Tenmoku base for both cups with splashes of a fun rust red glaze! I really like using glazes that break over edges 🥹

Left one is carved with rectangles all over of different sizes and orientations. Inspired by Alvar Alto’s Muutatslo Experimental House in approach to scale and patterning.
