might just be because I code in Go and Rust rather than TS/JS but Junie seems to be much better at Go especially.

Fixing code created by Claude 😜
Seriously though, much better at spec coding i.e. make a plan + execute the tasks. Adheres to my rules docs and coding standards too. Claude Code gets a bit lost sometimes and loses context.

Exactly this, lots of concern for typists in the typing pool. I worked in local gov at the time and folks were told to sneaker net their WordPerfect files to the typing pool for editing and printing.
Those typists ended up spread across the dept in other teams doing a much more varied job.

Sr Developer Advocate, Developer Productivity, DevEx Developers are at the heart of everything AWS builds. We are creating AI-powered development tools like Amazon Q Developer that help developers write code more efficiently, debug faster, and eliminate...

There are three US-based Developer Advocate roles open in the org I manage right now!

The first two are focused on telling AWS's developer tools story - for example, Kiro, Serverless, Amplify, etc.

Get ollama installed and your model of choice. Use it regularly while on the train to/from London cos train WiFi sucks.
Uncensored models can be fun “allegedly” 😜

IMHO Amazon Q CLI is underrated. I use it daily, not just for code gen but as my AWS search engine.
I work for AWS so you may think I’m biased but I also choose to use it for my personal projects.

Oh boy, that brings back memories. Used to work in the AV unit of Notts Fire Brigade in the late 80’s. We had a full edit suite with these things. So many good times.

Amazon Aurora DSQL is now GA!! It's "the fastest serverless distributed SQL database with virtually unlimited scale" according to AWS.

Been trying out the preview of this and it looks super promising.
