We see NA1SS in a few Field Day logs today! Congratulations for that and thank you NASA Astronauts Nichole Ayers and Jonny Kim for welcoming people to the ISS via amateur radio!

Amateur Radio Field Day Weekend SNE weather update: upstream trends in Eastern NY showing showers/tstorms quite isolated. This indicates that any tstorm activity is confined to West MA/CT, non-severe, quite isolated & low risk. Continuing to monitor. #mawx #riwx #ctwx

Getting reports of the ISS crew active on ham radio overnight.
Who's got NA1SS in their log today?

Some good passes still to come over the next few hours.

No, and no. The crew gets on the ham radio in their personal off-time. We don't know in advance on the ground.
So, keep listening and good luck on getting a QSO from NA1SS this weekend.

Final reminder: Use these frequencies: 437.800 MHz down (+/- doppler shift) and 145.990 up with a CTCSS of 67 Hz. And don't call for NA1SS, just work them if you hear them active.

We wish everyone the best of luck for Field Day. Let's answer the biggest two questions:
Do you know when the crew will be active? Do you know where the crew will be active?

As we monitor severe weather potential for later today, we salute the Amateur Radio Clubs that support the SKYWARN mission who are doing Field Day this weekend. One such club is the Mount Tom Amateur Radio Association at their Blandford MA site. #mawx #riwx #ctwx #arrlfd

We are grateful for the Amateur Radio Clubs that partner/support our Amateur Radio team in SKYWARN. On Sunday 6/22/25, approximately 20 Amateurs attended SKYWARN Training at their club house facilities which has a strong Amateur Radio station setup. #mawx #riwx #ctwx
