What we’re seeing is not the pendulum swinging back toward the right after the left went too far. We’re seeing a moral panic, a society-wide assault on a phantom leftist who wants to ban Dr. Seuss and arrest you for using the wrong pronouns and put kitty litter boxes in classrooms.

I'm not saying they should, just that I very much doubt they had an actual US Marshall would say that or mean it if they did say it. It would have to be the paid Musk goons, no Marshall would be stupid enough to be threatening to shoot citizens on behalf of someone actively committing a crime.

Transphobia is about protecting men's imagined superiority to women and addressing their irrational homophobic fear of finding a trans woman attractive. They can't manage their little boy emotions, so they frame it as "protecting women". But they can't be bothered to protect women from cis rapists.
