Justice’s eyes fluttered, like he was resisting excitement. He could feel their weight, a comfort he hadn’t felt in years. Anders’ body relaxed more than Illario or Envy had ever seen, his shoulders falling down and his face going slack. He breathed deeply, shifting the wings slightly.

Justice’s concentration slipped as excitement filled him for what felt like the first time, and his wings flickered out a bit. His eyes snapped open, and he looked over his shoulder, finding silver feathered wings. They were enormous, easily as long as Anders was tall. He smiled.

Justice nodded, closing his eyes and trying very hard to remember their weight. The air around him seemed to crackle, the veil straining against him.

Justice felt like this was ridiculous, but he did so.

He imagined long, strong wings, silver and translucent as they extended from Anders’ back.

Justice thought for a moment.

“I remember they covered like two full people each.” Anders offered.

Justice looked at Envy’s tail, stunned. “ {{ I DID NOT KNOW ONE COULD BRANDISH SUCH A THING. IN THE FADE, BEFORE THE WARDEN COMMANDER, I WORE ARMOR THAT I BELOVED. I ONCE HAD WINGS, BEFORE I WAS JUSTICE. COULD YOU TEACH ME HOW TO HAVE THEM AGAIN? }} “

Anders looked startled at Envy’s sudden presence, but recovered easily, his eyes flickering a slight blue.

“If there’s any tea, I’d love some—Justice wants to speak.” He laughed, and allowed the excited spirit to talk.

Anders nearly jumped out of his skin when Illario said his name, almost falling into the canal when he turned sharply. “Yes, hi.” He offered a nervous smile. “Envy met a… friend of mine, and they decided we should meet. I thought it’d be good for my friend to see someone ++

Oh, I'm not worrying. From what Varric's told me, he can take a joke. Varric said he actually can't, but I always think the opposite of what he tells me is the truth.
