Incredibly thematically sound, and coincided well with my breakup, haha. I would rather know the truth even if it's scary and might not tangibly change things. I can't imagine beating the base game without playing this first.

God. I don't even know what to say here, because people are (rightfully) very careful about spoilers, so I'll say this: I started Outer Wilds during a relationship with someone who tried to convince me not to love space...but, truthfully, I think space, as with life, IS love.

Did everything, including Timewyrm(somehow). I DO love this game, but as a DQ outsider, it's interesting how much this game embraces and struggles with nostalgia. It is the definitive DQ game, but I wish it hadn't pushed aside the DQXI cast at every chance to be DQ3 instead

This movie is stupid, vapid, and Extremely Fucking Cool. This movie literally has it all and is such a fun watch, and the animation is so interesting. Honest to god walked away more satisfied than most anything I've ever watched, absolute banger of a movie

Mad Max

This movie fucking blows. The stunts were cool and all but there is almost no coherent throughline between scenes. I applaud it for pushing the boundaries in the 70s but this is not a movie fit for watching outside its context imo. Huge props to Fury Road for making it interesting and good

I was fond of these movies when they came out, but...yeesh. The added content adds nothing and a real dynamic is never established among the company. The creatures look awful as do the outdoor environments, but indoor settings look STELLAR. Too quippy

Return of the King EE (Rewatch)

I think this is the weakest of the three films, and that's ok. It's extremely goofy, but it has by this point earned getting silly with it. Thematically the weakest too, but damned if the whole theater doesn't cry at "My friends...you bow to no one." Hobbitlove 4ever

The Two Towers EE (Rewatch)

The perspectice switches can be a lot sometimes, but it still does a phenomenal job of it. Merry is so well portrayed in this movie it's unbelievable, and Éowyn is much better than I recall. Sam's speech at the end had me in TEARS...also Helm's Deep is the best end fight

The Fellowship of the Ring EE (Rewatch)

Hadn't seen these movies in fifteen years and last time was on an iPod Touch, this time was in theaters. The books are so dear to my heart, but wow this movie was a stunner. Easily the best of the three, aces the monumental job of establishing the whole cast
