There's been some very kind people helping me on reddit with solutions I've already tried, but the meat of the answer seems to be that Texas is in a bandwidth blackhole for twitch.

I can't stream at all, because it's not just the lag; I have frame loss of up to 75-80%. It's not viable.

Hopefully twitch fixes this at some point but I'm fearful they're doing this to reduce costs and we're all just stuck with it.

Twitch seems to have reduced servers and for some reason decided to stick all of middle America and the south on Ohio. There's nothing I can really do about this and it's frustrating.

So I might have figured this out. The nearest server twitch allows me to connect to is in Ohio. I'm in Texas.

I have friends who can see Dallas/Garland servers in their OBS but from what I've read it's cached files, if I manage to force it to the rtmp url for Dallas it'll redirect to Ohio anyway.

It's frustrating cause the first week I was streaming I had zero issue, and now it's every time I try? So. A little deflated.

I'm going to spend the rest of this week trying to figure this out AGAIN.

Still unable to stream! I'm suspicious it's a problem on my ISP end, because I've done everything I could to fix encoding/dropped frame issues and the test streams I do show no issues when I do them.

Stream is unfortunately likely cancelled today :c I have an AC tech coming and the window is all day so who knows when they'll be here.

The good news is I've been recording a playthrough of DEATHS DOOR and I'm terrible at both the game and recording so that should be fun

Still dealing with heavy frame loss and encoding issues, so today is a bust too! I'm hoping to be back on Tuesday!
