Also last week, I finished the first painting I've ever done outside of a guided painting class. I'm quite happy with the result, and beyond proud of myself for finally doing something I've Petaluma been wanting to do for 10 years. I'm calling it "Whimsy." So, there was an unexpected mental health metaphor in the new Thunderbolts movie, and I will admit, I teared up a little. You can't fight the void (trauma, depression), you can only heal it with love. Hopefully in the 2nd movie, the Sentry can confront his trauma and be the light, always. ❤️ #marvel

Chalk it up to the perks of being a junk hauler, I guess. I worked for 1-800-GOT-JUNK in St. Louis for over 6 years on the trucks, and this was one of my better finds. Though not the only pinball machine I found while working as a junk hauler. I sold the other one I found for like $800. 😁

I agree! I will admit I neglected it for a few years because it was so difficult. But now that I've figured it out, I will play it a lot more. Believe it or not, I actually FOUND this machine while hauling junk several years ago. I paid nothing for it, and only paid a few hundred to get it fixed. 😎

In addition to all the other AWESOME things that happened yesterday, I also scored over 1 million points on my pinball machine for the 1st time. I've had this machine for probably 6 or 7 years now, but I've only recently started playing it frequently, as it is rather difficult. ❤️ #pinball #topscore

His name at the shelter was "Bobbi," because he is a bobtail tuxedo, and we may have decided that his full name is Robert California aka Tango. We'll just call him Tango, but every cat deserves a full, proper name. 🙂

Do you ever feel like this administration is trying to bait us into becoming radicalized? They're cutting funding for our beautiful (free) Zoo and Botanical Garden, AND for NPR, and the white-hot rage in me is growing. 🙁
