I appreciate your frustration. I have never met AOC, so I can't comment on her approach. But I met with Bernie many times when I was in Vermont. Any time we disagreed on a topic, and there were many times, he always sought common ground to build from. Bernie didn't fail. We failed Bernie.

I read an article in this morning's NYT regarding AOC's visit to Munich. It mentioned that she talked with world leaders about a "wealth tax". I'm no marketing genius, but it seems to me they'll need a better label to sell it. People aspire to be wealthy, and they'll perceive this as punishment...
