So, a little story about me, what happened over the last day, and what it all meant to me.

I made a pretty painful realization a recently that I'd been living as a people pleaser. Often diluting or filtering myself to cater to other people now out of respect, but fear of rejection. (1/??)

Jinx, I can't thank you enough. You were the first person I ever brought this to and you helped me get it started so much. Its only two or three streams in, I still have a long way to go and I'm not at all done with the rewards and ideas, but I'm glad I tested this idea out at all. Thank you, hon ♡

Why don't you make like a tree and slowly grow while helping others around you grow too.

I don't really know where I go from here, but I have ideas. I may have hit a snag after today, but that moment of pure joy was real. To me, that says im moving in the right direction.

It seems like a small thing, but to me that moment was so monumentally important. It was messy, but it proved to me I really could let my real self out without fear, -and- I could still successfully be an entertainer while doing it.

I ended the stream feeling the most hopeful I'd ever felt in a very long time. Because to me this wasnt about getting a big audience or getting attention, it was about seeing if being authentically me, as Salem, was something i could do at all.

And it was. Not only that, but I loved it. (24/??)

And that engine was the perfect metaphor to end the stream on it was almost poetic.

It was messy, not fully done, but it was working.

*Salem* was working. Not just as a stream persona but as an extension of my real self. The me I wanted to be all the time, not just in safety. (23/??)
