The meds do seem to be helping and I’ve been making an effort to not lie down for a few hours after eating. Hope you are feeling better today.

Glad it went well. Sending endoscopy solidarity. I had one last month which confirmed I have a hiatal hernia. They upped my reflux meds, told me to lose some weight and sent me on my way. Hope you are able to find something soothing to eat while you recover.

I’m so lucky that my parents watch MSNBC or whatever it’s called now. My dad, a life long Republican (but pretty socially liberal and very anti-🍊) is apparently talking about changing his registration to Independent. So proud.

A discord group I’m in says “good time zone” as a greeting since it is an international group. But feel like “good Time and Relative Dimension in Space” works really well too.

It was HP on a site I feel like no one ever talks about called adultfanfiction dot something (don’t think it was net). I was probably 18 because you had to check a box saying that. Maybe found it from LiveJournal but not sure. Dipped a bit into ship specific sites as well but not much.

I was listening to a podcast and one of the hosts was talking about ordering an avocado while on a restricted diet. When the bill came they had charged him $8 for the avocado. All I could think was, that must have been one big avocado.

She’s a federal employee so that might get complicated. I was supposed to move into an actual office back in November but it hasn’t been approved yet still. Plus this building is super modern so the offices have glass outer walls and doors.

Taught is a strong word. It was a day camp.

I’m currently around 5 but if the woman in the office across from my cubicle doesn’t turn her computer volume down pretty soon it might go up. Also I’m hungry because I ate lunch too early and I still have two hours before I can go home.

It was a blast. We wrote and performed original one act plays in small groups as well.

I had a very small part because I didn’t want to sing solo. I was the French maid in Act 1 and the radio operator in Act 2. That was my third year at the camp. The first year we did Showboat and the second year we did Damn Yankees. I have more pictures but not on my phone.

I was in South Pacific at theater camp the summer before 8th grade it has so many catchy songs.

Will definitely check this out. When will picture the two of them as bakers I definitely think of Crowley as doing patisserie and small detail work and Azi making bread and things made of dough.

Canada is perfectly happy doing its own thing. Meanwhile Washington, DC has been over here begging to be the 51st state for a very long time.

That’s impressive! The longest I was with one company was just under ten years. Then I moved into an industry that doesn’t guarantee work more than one year at a time and is generally unpredictable.

I wore contacts about 30 years ago and really struggled with them but I think trying to open your eye wide enough to wedge an object in there would be more difficult than just using your fingers.

Great job! My mom had breast cancer about eight years ago (she’s fine now) so there was never any question that I would stay on top of screening. I did have the referral for a few months before I made the appointment since I was starting a new job and life was a bit chaotic.

Getting into the headspace to make an appointment is such a struggle. Good for you for trying to do the thing. Don’t give up. Had my first mammogram a few weeks ago since I turned the magic age in October.

The worst. Lately I’ve been getting them with just the aura and no headache but they still drain all my energy. Used to get the full on everything and even gave up caffeine for a while to try to get rid of then. My mom got them when I was growing up and would be bed ridden all day.

I watched the first episode last night and then did not sleep well. I agree Tyra had good intentions going in but those did not last very long when faced with the ins and outs of reality television.
