The highest levels of #gas pollution in the #Reykjavík area since the start of #volcanic activity in 2021 are now being recorded. In addition to gas #pollution, volcanic #haze still hangs over the city. Even healthy individuals may experience #symptoms.

For an eruption that, to my understanding, hasn’t produced as much magma as the others on the Reykjanes Peninsula, this one seems to be spewing way more sulfur dioxide. Maybe just the luck of the draw when it comes to wind direction?

Sharp eyes will notice the same keyword on all my other mirrors now.

I suspected that the account was being hidden from the public as a result.

Since it seemed like the mods were not going to reverse course, I deleted the original account and created a new one with the “Unofficial” keyword added and, crucially, it no longer had the impersonator tag.

For the curious, the original “Saints (Mirror)“ was tagged as an impersonator account by BlueSky mods. I made all their requested changes including adding “Unofficial” in the account’s name and description, but they never removed the tag nor replied to my messages.
