When I got laid off from Game Informer (almost a year ago to the day) Matt helped me publish a piece on Baldur's Gate 3 I'd worked on for our next issue. He got it up on IGN AND helped me when my payment didn't come through for several weeks. He's a good dude, a great writer, and you should hire him

This is wild news. I guess this is what it feels like when sports fans see a star player get traded from one team to another. Except in this case, he’s also still playing on his original team.

Thrilled to announce that starting today, I am a Video Editor for Game Informer.

I'll be returning to my roots in more ways than one, working alongside an absolutely incredible team to make all kinds of content about games, developers, and the mag itself.

Waited 90 minutes in the delta help line and ultimately decided to just leave (no one was getting vouchers or anything so far and I already rebooked online). I tried to be polite and walk around the long roped-off line when a guy said, “Go under. The president’s a felon. There’s no rules anymore.”

Wow, okay. Flight canceled after 7 hours of delays. Awesome!

Flew to NY this weekend to meet my family, who drove from Ohio a few days ago. Today, they dropped me off at the airport as the first stop on their long drive home.

In an amazingly stupid twist of events, my flight’s been delayed so many times that they’ll be home 10 minutes before I land (2:13 AM)

Also, if you see me, feel free to say hi! I am very tall, so you will probably spot me first.

Hey, y'all! I'm going to my first Gen Con next week! I've got tickets to a couple of events, but I'm mostly planning to keep it chill and just stroll through all the booths. That said, is there anything there I should make a point to do or see?

Both! I’m 6’6” and I think they’re each around 5’, though I don’t know their exact heights off the top of my head. It was a very weird picture to take. My girlfriend said it looked like I was a dad posing with my two teenage daughters

That is definitely one of my favorite endings of a game, though I wouldn’t say it’s because of the bosses specifically

I just love this energy. This is how I feel when someone makes me a home cooked meal that absolutely slaps. What a good show.

Having non-chefs judge the food puts everything in a much more grounded context. They love basically everything because these are professionally trained chefs — they make good food! It’s a lot more fun to see them fit these stupid prompts than scrutinize technique and composition, imo
