Bledsoe was known for creating many opportunities for DJs at all levels of experience and stature, and many will be on hand to perform in his honor including Gabriel G, Branko, Pat, VJ, Czboogie, Rose Red, Jevon Jackson, Kevin Durkin and Chris Speck.

The memorial is being held at InnJoy, where Mike held his Housebroken residency for many years, on Thursday October 30 starting at 8:30pm.

We are mourning today for one of the shooting stars of Chicago house music, whose legacy is a stack of records as high as your neck but also the uncounted but vast numbers of DJs, vocalists and producers that Ron Carroll put on stage and advocated for.

FTC sues Ticketmaster & Live Nation for secret ticket resale scheme The suit also accuses the companies of raking in $16 billion in hidden fees over the last five years.

The suit also takes aim at Ticketmaster & Live Nation's hidden but mandatory sales fees.

The FTC claims the companies netted $16.4 BILLION dollars over the last 5 years in fees that could range as high as 44% of the advertised ticket sale price.

The suit claims that Ticketmaster & Live Nation publicized limits on the amount of tickets brokers could buy and routinely violated the limits and "turned a blind eye" to the practice. The company even set up a software platform so brokers could easily coordinate their massive ticket buys.
