#w PLAY DIRTY - Shane Black makes a decent Parker movie, delivering brutality, quips & cool lines ("Nobody tells me where I can walk") and a twisted sense of honour & ethics. A pity some of the large set-pieces have dodgy (and dark) CGI but they are just a small distraction.

This whole thing with scorings (You're a two, I'm a 7) - I have questions:
a. Do women use this when describing men?
b. Do the guys realise its origins in pop culture are in the film "10", starring Dudley Moore (not a 10) lusting after Bo Derek?

I enjoy this one. The cast is great, for a start and it has a really good backstory which they are have stumbled into. A pity we didn't get more of the epilogue.

Even the last time the film was released in the UK, the scene with the detective's (hooker) girlfriend being tortured was cut, but the gnarly bits replaced with other restored scenes, to keep the running time.

Hey...did you know there was a Korean remake of TUCKER AND DALE vs EVIL, called Handsome Guys? It's a lot of fun, and adds a little more to the evil threat. Most of what happens to the clueless group remains the same (wasps/chainsaw, woodchipper etc).

love this one, i have it on blu ray. Its a good update of the story and i enjoyed all the 70's hippy shenanigans. And yeah Carolinie Munro!

OMG those replies!!! They have no idea what sex actually is! They are doomed to a slew of 1-star reviews on tripadvisor from all their -ahem- many one-nighters.

There's no hope for this guy. Good job he broke things off now, before that bitterness and resentment turned into something darker.

I think I've seen the opening scenes before but didn't know The Hoff was in it!

There's a very good short horror film called YUMMY MUMMY, which delves into how a pregnant woman is seen more as an incubator for the child than a human being herself. You can find it on Youtube on the Alter channel. (not scary but is horrifying).

#W ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER some of it was too on the nose & took a while to find its feet: the jazz score had a habit of deflating tension, the lengthy prologue. BUT that car chase, and the rest of it...when it sings, it sings.

my wife would have pissed herself laughing and quite right too. I very much doubt his tooth is "out of alignment and the nerve exposed". He'd be in a LOT of pain if that were the case instead of just bitching about it.
