Kentarō Miura having an interview in 2020, for the "The Great Berserk Exhibition" in Tokyo, 10–23 September 2021. Here he was asked how far we currently are with the story of Berserk. His response: "3/5 of the way? No, maybe 4/5." On May 6, 2021, Miura died due to acute aortic dissection, at the age of 54. His death was publicly announced on May 20, 2021.
